When the University Community Opens Its Heart
As part of their community service, students from the Marketing Faculty at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa organized a food drive to benefit FloreSer. They didn’t just organize the event: they personally delivered the food and spent time with the girls, sharing laughter and connection in addition to the collected items.
Gestures like this have a double impact. On the one hand, they ensure something as essential as a food supply for the children, meeting a real daily need. On the other, they show the girls that there are young people—often not much older than they are—willing to dedicate time and attention to them, reinforcing the idea that they are not alone and that their community is there for them.
We are deeply grateful to the Marketing Faculty at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa for their generosity and for transforming their community service into a genuine experience of connection with our girls. Initiatives like this inspire us to continue inviting more schools, colleges, and organizations to join us: whether it’s with a fundraiser, a visit, or an afternoon of fellowship, every action counts in strengthening the home we build for them.
